Hi there! It is my turn to share my project for the Simply Happy blog tour! I LOVE this fabric! It is just so bright and cheery! You really can't help but be happy when looking at those cute prints!
When I saw this fabric, I knew I needed a pattern that would showcase all those lovely prints! Instead of using one of my existing patterns, I thought it would be fun to design an all new pattern just for this fabric!
|Jumping Jacks - pattern available here.|
Jumping Jacks is a fat quarter friendly quilt. Large 12" blocks, make for easy piecing! You can choose to make all your blocks scrappy, or for a more cohesive look, you can use fewer prints.
For this quilt, I went really scrappy, and I LOVE how it turned out!
The great thing about this quilt, is the center of the block is a great size for showcasing larger scale prints or if you have a print that you would like to fussy cut, this quilt is perfect for that!
For the quilting, I did one of my favorite patterns - Ginger Flower. This pattern was PERFECT for this quilt! I finished it off with the darker blue print for binding! I love how it just frames the quilt and gives it a nice framed look!
This was such a fun quilt to make, and I love how bright and happy it is! I hope you enjoy making it as much as I did. :)
I have the pattern available in my shop and it's on sale for this week only!
